Wesley Snipes, who was indicted for tax evasion, has revealed that he is a victim of “unscrupulous tax advice,” and is supposedly being charged because he’s black. Despite his failure to file tax returns for five years (1999 – 2004) and his $12 million  in deductions in 1996 – 1997, according to ShowBuzz,

In a June 4 motion to dismiss the indictment, Snipes’ attorneys argue that prosecutors filed additional tax evasion charges against him and not against two co-defendants because they are “Caucasian, while Mr. Snipes is African-American.”

A federal judge is still considering the motion.

The Oct. 17 indictment charges Snipes with fraudulently claiming refunds totaling nearly $12 million in 1996 and 1997 for income taxes already paid. The star of the “Blade” trilogy and other films also was charged with failure to file returns from 1999 through 2004.

Wesley Snipes is obviously an idiot. Did the “unscrupulous tax advice,” include not filing tax returns for five years?  Did the accountant accidentally deduct $12 million by not carrying the 1? He deserves to go to jail.

Wesley Snipes, who was recently indicted on several counts of tax-fraud, was missing, but his whereabouts have finally turned up. He’s in Namibia filming Gallowwalker in the desert. According to E!,

According to the wire service, Snipes has been filming Gallowwalker in the desert near Swakopmund, the same coastal town that was home to a prenatal Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the run-up to their daughter Shiloh’s birth last spring.

Here I thought he was hiding out in the jungles of Brazil. Oops! Wesley, who could face up to 16 years in prison, is going to have quite the surprise when he emerges from the desert. He’s going to be wanting something to drink, but all hes getting is a court date.

Wesley Snipes has been indicted on eight counts of tax-fraud. He allegedly cheated the government out of 12 million dollars. Aside from the eight counts of tax-fraud, he has also has failed to file a tax returns for the past six years. According to CNN,

According to the indictment, Snipes had his taxes prepared by accountants with a history of filing false returns to reap payments for their clients. As part of the deal, the indictment alleges, the firm, American Rights Litigators, would receive 20 percent of refunds from clients.

Genius. By Wesley Snipe’s example, if your ever trying to cheat the government, use an accountant who was stupid enough to get caught once before. Since that is how you should risk your life. You know, using people who have a history of not getting away with anything. Moron.
