So what are some of the celebrities doing for the upcoming Valentine’s Day?  The usual stuff, I’m quite sure.  Like the rest of the world, the single ones are still trying to fight for a date or decided to stay home and silently scorn the holidays, but for Usher Raymond and his wife it may be a little more different.  Almost dying underneath a knife the week before can do that to you.

Ellen Dastry, spokeswoman for plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman, says Tameka Raymond checked into the Sao Rafael Hospital last Friday for a “simple liposuction.” Dastry said that Raymond suffered a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized for the procedure “but was revived in less than a minute by heart massage.” She was then placed in an induced coma before being taken to the intensive-care unit, a procedure Dastry said was “absolutely normal” and performed in order to “avoid unnecessary complications.”

If there is a lesson learned by the couple for this coming weekend, let’s hope it’s this one simple thing: skip the fine dining and chocolates, chubs.  I hope she’s just as content to get a card and a bag of baby carrots.

Usher lets loose to the press that his up and coming “One Night Stand Tour” will, get this, just consist of him and the lovely ladies.

“There’s only a few artists that can pull that off,” said the 29-year-old singer. “I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”

THE BASTARD. THE SNAKE.  You know he’s going to charm the panties off of every single one of those women and commence a massive orgy like no one would believe, and to say that no one else is invited?!  Me and my video camera are a little heart broken right now…

It turns out Usher has decided to kick his manager to the curb and reinstate his mom as the runner of the show.

The New York Daily News reported in July, that Usher was disappointed that his CD “Here I Stand” sold 433,000 copies in its first week, compared with his last CD, 2004’s “Confessions,” which had sales of 1.1. million its first seven days.

In addition to the drop in sales, I’m quite sure that Usher brought back his mom as manager because she threatened to withhold their Sunday evening breast feedings. For him, that was like asking him not to wear a hat over his pointed little head back in the 90’s.

Usher has announced that he and his fiance Tameka Foster are expecting a baby in the fall. According to the ShowBuzz, Usher said,

“We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together,”

On a side-note, this isn’t going to be a normal childbirth. The baby is going to dance it’s little ass right out of the womb.  As to whether or not the child will be wearing white uptown sneakers has yet to be confirmed. Pop, Lock, and Snip.
