I’m still trying to figure out what happened to Tara Reid. She used to be a hot starlet, you know, back in her days when she was with Carson Daly. Now she’s become a cautionary tale about how Hollywood starlets can go terribly wrong.

How does someone manage to have seemingly not an ounce of extra fat on her body yet still have a saggy, wrinkled old fart’s ass? Beats me, but Tara’s accomplished it. A little nipping and tucking in the trunk wouldn’t hurt, Tara. Or a sarong.

This is an old photoshoot that Tara Reid did. It reminds me that at one time she was hot. Like, I can see why Carson Daly dated her hot. And why anyone ever gave a damn about her.

I know Tara’s out of rehab, so maybe things are falling back into place for her so she can regain her hotness. For now, I’ll enjoy these pictures.

The reasons for Tara Reid’s decision to hit up the rehab scene right before the holidays have been revealed: she likes the alcohol a little too much.

…A source tells PEOPLE in its new issue: “Tara has a problem with alcohol. It’s been at the root of much discomfort between herself and her family and friends.”

In fact, the source says that Reid’s relationship with her family and close friends “has been strained” recently. “She becomes erratic and is a completely different person when she’s intoxicated, which is hard for people close to her to watch.”

My question is, how come we don’t have any of that possible hilarious footage on camera?  Isn’t the general population that has watched her grow old in front of the movie screen and have seen her partially naked qualified as some sort of family or friend?  Aren’t we too entitled to have watched her transform into a booze hound?  Apparently not.

Tara Reid shocks and mystifies millions with her secret admittance to rehab over the weekend.  No one has mentioned why she was admitted, and even the people she has worked with recently in the past didn’t expect to see this coming.

The American Pie actress and velvet-rope fixture has checked into Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, according to her publicist, Jack Ketsoyan.

“We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time,” he said. Ketsoyan did not say what Reid is being treated for and no other details were forthcoming.

The move comes as a surprise to Reunion Pictures’ Matthew O’Connor, who coproduced Reid last year on the made-for-TV horror flick Vipers.

“Absolutely not,” O’Connor said when asked whether he had noticed any warning signs that Reid might have a problem. “She was better than fine—great.”

I suppose technically, you would expect not to pick up on the signs when dealing with an actor.  This just goes to prove you don’t have to be an amazing one to put your crazy problems aside when you could really use the money and publicity–even if it’s for some dinky television movie that people will only watch because every day for a month every eight hours.

And as you can see, she looks quite normal here when the launch of her clothing line “Mantra.”  Even her nips haven’t lost its integrity yet.
