Maggie Gyllenhaal Sex Scene Disturbs Jake

Jake Gyllenhaal admitted that sitting through his older sister’s, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s, sex scene in “Secretary” was extremely disturbing. According to the Post Chronicle,

“It’s funny, when she was first going for auditions everyone was telling her she wasn’t sexy, not sexual. I remember her buying a skimpy cut-off dress for one audition and it just wasn’t her. Now she is treated as a sex object. Strange.”

It seems Jake managed to leave out that sitting through any sex scene where a woman is involved would make him uncomfortable. I’m not saying he’s gay, I’m just saying he may or may not prefer a sex scene with Heath Ledger or Elton John or a young woman who looks like a boy. To each is own.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have completely ended their short spring fling because Reese lacked the time Jake demanded. According to People,

“Reese was the one who had to do it,” says the source. “She just got out of a divorce and was so concerned with her family, she just didn’t have the time for him and he really demanded that.”

When Reese says, “she didn’t have the time,” I’m sure she really means, “its hard to have an orgasm while wearing a strap-on,” but I’ve always been bad at reading in-between the lines.

Randy Quaid, not Gay, but very Lame

[tag]Randy Quaid[/tag] is suing the studio that made [tag]Brokeback Mountain[/tag] because he felt they screwed him on the price at which he did the movie. When I first saw this story, I had one question. Who the hell is Randy Quaid?

B-movie actor Quaid (that’s better) plays a rancher who hires Ennis ([tag]Heath Ledger[/tag]) and Jack ([tag]Jake Gyllenhaal[/tag]) in Brokeback Mountain. Hailing from Texas, I don’t see the need for him to demand seven figures. It’s not like he is doing much in the movie. Plus, you have to be a pretty crappy rancher to hire two cowboys who forget about the sheep in order to run off and make out in the barn.

Quaid felt he was led to believe that Brokeback was an art-house film that wasn’t going to make much money. When Quaid met with [tag]Ang Lee[/tag] in 2004, Lee supposedly told him (as mentioned in the lawsuit),

We can’t pay anything, we have very little money, everyone is making a sacrifice to make this film.

The lawsuit also discusses how Focus/Universal films created a small company to hide its involvement in the flm. It makes sense, why would a major film company stand behind something that has potential to flop miserably? The real question, is it healthy for Randy Quaid to be riding Brokeback Mountain so viciously?
