If all the cool kids are doing it, wouldn’t you do it too? Sunday, after the death of Bernie Mac, Isaac Hayes is found dead at 65 in Memphis.

Hayes, who once told Reuters that he was a “health fanatic,” was reportedly found unconscious near a running treadmill at his home. He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death was not known.

Apparently, keeping those “chocolate salty balls” firm and supple for the kids and ladies took a lot of work that Hayes eventually couldn’t handle. Right now I hope he’s still running with them somewhere in heaven, but being a Scientologist and all, he’s probably just holding an alien funk festival.

Isaac Hayes recently quit South Park (he played the Chef) because he felt the creators were going too far by cracking on religion. I could make a “chocolate salty ball” comment here but I’m going to refrain from sounding like a jackass.

Anyway, Trey Parker and Matt Stone feel he (Hayes) quit only because they started ripping on Hayes’s religion, Scientology. Stone and Parker said Hayes never complained when they attacked other religions. It doesn’t even matter. Either way, South Park lost a cool character, Hayes is out of a job, and Tom Cruise is still gay.
