After doing a voice in ‘Over the Hedge,’ Avril Lavigne decided she was going to put her music career on hold to try and pursue a career in acting. She said,

I like more serious roles. I can see myself in something like ‘Girl Interrupted.’ I would enjoy doing a film on the darker side, something serious with depth. I’m good at expressing myself and getting all my emotions out.

I would sure hope a director wouldn’t give an amateur a serious movie role with depth. All of these musicians look at acting and feel as if it is easy. They leverage their fame and destroy movies. So I decided to make a list. (source)

Musicians Ruin Movies:

The top 5 Movies that suck because musicians starred in them would be the following:

1. Crossroads – Britney Spears was in her prime. She should have been doing Playboy
2. Maid in Manhatten – This is the movie that started Jennifer in her streak of creating terrible movies although it wasn’t her first movie she created
3. Barbershop – Not only did this give Ice Cube two movies, it was made into a series. Sure the first one was mildly entertaining, but they beat it to death. Go to a real Barbershop in the ghetto and you will find it is much more entertaining
4. Lizzy Mcguire movie – Disney is great at creating terrible movies and actresses. This movie goes down as number 4 because it started Hilary’s movie career and it angers me.
5. Nothing But Trouble – Tupac Shakur was in this movie. I put this on the list not because Tupac was a terrible actor, but because he gave rappers a hope in the movie industry. Because of Tupac, every rapper in the world thinks they can be an actor. Thanks Tupac.

The popular 70’s show, Welcome Back Kotter, will now be made for the big screen starring Ice Cube. Ice Cube plays a teacher who comes back to (the hood) teach the troubled youth (in the neighborhood that he grew up in). I like Ice Cube, mainly because each movie consists of him saying, “DAYAMN!!” Go ahead, try it, it’s fun.

Ice Cube is the modern day Mister T, but with much less bling and more street cred. I don’t know why he is making terrible movies. Following Vin Diesel is a poor career choice, for anyone, or anything. On a completely different note, with the success of XXX: State of of the Union, I will be in XXX 3 (aka 3X3: State of my Genitals).
