Now, Eva Mendes has done her fair share of skimpy photoshoots. True, they’ve been for European ads and magazines, but still. The chick isn’t afraid to show everything her Mama gave her.

And now she decides to go and cover those gorgeous tits in… ruffles.

Hmmm.

I’m not sure about this. I mean, on one hand, Eva hasn’t just out-and-0ut hidden her tits. Instead she covered them in those damn ruffles. Hinting at the gorgeous girls underneath without actually showing us the goods.

Well, since she’s at a film festival, I guess it makes sense. Of course I’d rather just see her naked tits, but you can’t have everything, right?

Look at this dress. Eva Mendes stormed the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival as part of the premiere for her new movie, The Bad Lieutenant (with Nicolas Cage, but don’t hold that against Eva). The real thing you should hold against Eva is this dress. It looks like a bunch of strips of fabric sewn together. What the hell was Eva thinking?

Well, despite this dress, you can still see Eva’s great rack and that ass, so I guess it’s a testament to Eva’s body that  she can pull it off.

Then again, maybe it’s just my memory of her far more, um, revealing photoshoots that makes me give her the benefit of the doubt. I just have to see the top of her tits and I can remember far, far more.

If this picture could talk, more than likely it include Eva Mendez parading around the red carpet for “The Spirit” in Madrid shouting out at the top of her lungs “This is for all of you who have ever wondered what a sexy bottle of Pepto Bismol would look like.”  I suppose half of that sexiness comes with the idea of near instant relief from an upset stomach.  The cause?  More than likely that dress.

This picture of Eva Mendes is only a tame version of the false advertising that goes on in the commercial world and Myspace.  What happened to the scantily clad sex starved kitten I saw on the right?  Apparently somewhere lost in all the make up, dynamic lighting, and photoshop techniques she left behind.  If I were you Eva, I’d put that in your bedroom so that men can be reminded why they’re even there in the first place.

Eva Mendes at the Calvin Klein 40th Anniversary obviously didn’t know a couple things about clothing before she arrived.  For instance, you should never pursue wearing skin-tight clothing unless you absolutely have nothing to hide or are a super hero.  Eva, isn’t one of these people.  There are some funky little things going on under that dress.  There’s a little belly bulge escaping here and there, and some hips that are nowhere near accenting a slim waistline.  That… and is she carrying a mini-toaster?  FOR SHAME.  Next time around, I’m sure she’ll get her wardrobe down.

Do you remember that scene from The Little Mermaid where Ariel first comes up to shore?  She’s all naked and she knows that prince guy was coming, so instead of leaving everything as perfect as it already is, she makes some messed up dress out of some ratty tarp?  THIS IS THAT DRESS.  Surely Eva Mendes at the ACP Mag’s “30 days of fashion and beauty” function thought that this would be cute because it’s long and reminds her of Tweety bird.  Not so. This thing doesn’t fit her at all, and I don’t know what’s going on underneath all that see-thru crap. Are those pockets hanging from her boobs?  Geez.
