They are going to make an [tag]Ocean’s Thirteen[/tag]. [tag]Warner Brothers[/tag] is going to build the set on five stages in Burbank California. [tag]Ellen Barkin[/tag] is set to be the movie’s new leading lady.

It is reported that [tag]Julia Roberts[/tag] and [tag]Catherine Zeta-Jones[/tag] won’t be in this one. I guess because they see this bombing miserably. Ocean’s Thirteen will consist of: [tag]George Clooney[/tag], [tag]Brad Pitt[/tag], [tag]Matt Damon[/tag], [tag]Andy Garcia[/tag], [tag]Don Cheadle[/tag], [tag]Bernie Mac[/tag], [tag]Casey Affleck[/tag], [tag]Scott Caan[/tag], [tag]Eddie Jemison[/tag], [tag]Shaobo Qin[/tag], [tag]Carl Reiner[/tag] and [tag]Elliott Gould[/tag]. How far will this go? Will everyone slowly sign off this movie idea until it’s just George Clooney and Brad Pitt in Ocean’s Sixty-Nine?

I’ve been reading a lot about Don Cheadle possibly playing the late Jazz master Miles Davis in an upcoming movie. I know Cheadle could play Davis. I wouldn’t doubt that he could nail that role better than any other actor out there. But Hollywood has a tendency of fucking Don Cheadle, and in a way that I don’t think Cheadle likes. Hotel Rwanda anyone?

I’m going to call it right here and now. Either Cheadle doesn’t get the role, or he does, but he still won’t win an Oscar. If I was Cheadle (sometimes I am) and I somehow won an Oscar, I’d use the same speech as Edward Norton does in 25th Hour. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about, alone, with the bathroom mirror.
