I’m sure you recognize this guy from almost every Adam Sandler movie and a few others like Grandma’s Boy. Well, he was arrested.

Allen Covert, who has co-starred in over a dozen movies with Adam Sandler, was arrested on the set of his latest Sandler collaboration after he got into it with a photographer.

Covert was arrested by the LAPD at around 6:00 PM PT on the set of “Bedtime Stories.” He was charged with battery and was eventually released.

We’re told Covert approached the pap — who was on the sidewalk outside the high school they were filming at — argued with him, spat on him and tried to slap the camera out of hand. Covert was upset because he thought the photographer was filming his kid.

This guy doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who goes around slapping people, but then again Star Jones didn’t seem like the kind of woman that would ever look anorexic. The world is turning upside down people. Start storing water and canned goods now.

Kate Beckinsale finds Adam Sandler annoying although she enjoyed working with him on their new movie, ‘Click.’ His antics, she admitted, would get on her nerves if she had to deal with them on a regular basis.

She says she “thoroughly” enjoyed playing his wife because “I didn’t have to take him home.” Beckinsale adds, “I didn’t have to yell at him about going and playing golf or all of that stuff that would really bug me in real life if I were married to him.”

Kate Beckinsale was interviewed by ‘Premiere‘ magazine with regards to her upcoming movie, ‘Click‘ where she stars alongside Adam Sandler, on May 30th. One of the questions of the interview that intrigued me the most was,

Is your sense of humor when it comes to the comedy more dry and British, or does it run toward the Adam Sandler, American brand of comedy?

It’s fairly broad. I love a Noel Coward play, and I love a fart joke. Click isn’t just an entirely broad comedy, there’s a lot of pretty interesting layers and Adam certainly has a lot to do in terms of emotional beats. It’s not just fart jokes and a boob gag. Fart Jokes and Boob gags are the only good senses of humor. Here it can be safe to say that Kate has a real ‘shitty’ sense of humor, no pun intended. Why have a broad sense when you can run around farting in your hand and placing it in peoples faces? Sure it’s obnoxious, but it’s always funny. Especially if its someone you don’t know.
