Photos of Beaten Rihanna Circulates the Internet

While singers Rihanna and Chris Brown are ultimately hugh-hush about the entire situation revolving around the domestic dispute that took place early morning on the day of the Grammy Awards, some people just won’t let that be.  After pictures of a bruised Rihanna circulated around the internet last night, the LAPD is set on getting down to the bottom of it.

“The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official domestic violence investigation,” says a police statement. “The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence.”

The picture is a close-up of a young woman with her eyes closed and bruises and cuts on her forehead, lips and cheeks. PEOPLE has chosen not to post the picture, due to the nature of the case.

However, that hasn’t stopped TMZ and other websites from following such a noble example.  Stuff like this only makes you more popular; much stronger.  You know how your friends took a picture of you passed out on the floor of a party while someone appeared to take a crap over your face?  It’s kinda like that, only after the picture gets put in the newspaper no one is going to go out and buy more burgers from the McDonald’s you’re dipping french fries at.
