For all those craaaaazy Paula Abdul stalkers (dead and still living) you will now still be able to experience the thrill of knowing where your favorite star is–pretty much where she’s been now for a good chunk of the last couple of years. After all of her moaning and groaning she has done to the media after one of her stalkers killed herself outside of her home, she’s still planning on standing by her main man/show American Idol.
“I am a big fan of the show. I am blessed to be on the show. It’s the greatest show on television all around the world and … a gazillion people would love to be in my shoes,” Abdul said at a meeting Tuesday of the Television Critics Association.
Pressed about it Tuesday, Abdul denied saying “anything disparaging about `American Idol’ at all” or complaining to producers about Goodspeed.
When a reporter pointed out that Abdul was quoted as saying she had warned producers about the woman, Abdul replied: “Well, that is true. But that’s that. I can’t talk about it anymore. It’s an ongoing police investigation.”
That first bit about loving that show I almost promise was what some head honcho yelled at her during some sort of ultamatum session. Without the show, she’d probably at best wind up making frequent appearances on those “I Love the 80′s” shows on VH1.
What would be insanely ironic is she made her own reality television series about her life dodging her “Number One Fans.”
