Tara Reid’s Reason for Rehab

The reasons for Tara Reid’s decision to hit up the rehab scene right before the holidays have been revealed: she likes the alcohol a little too much.

…A source tells PEOPLE in its new issue: “Tara has a problem with alcohol. It’s been at the root of much discomfort between herself and her family and friends.”

In fact, the source says that Reid’s relationship with her family and close friends “has been strained” recently. “She becomes erratic and is a completely different person when she’s intoxicated, which is hard for people close to her to watch.”

My question is, how come we don’t have any of that possible hilarious footage on camera?  Isn’t the general population that has watched her grow old in front of the movie screen and have seen her partially naked qualified as some sort of family or friend?  Aren’t we too entitled to have watched her transform into a booze hound?  Apparently not.
