Tina Fey Has Battle Scars

As far as I know, Tina Fey is one of the few people in comedy that is cute and not loud and obnoxcious–which would explain why she’s well liked.  While her comedy tends to sometimes cross various (and hilarious) boundries, the one thing that she has never really talked about has been the scar on her face up until now.

USA Today reports that Fey had her cheek slashed by a stranger in her front yard when she was five years old.

Fey never wanted to reveal the story because she thought it would exploit it.

States Fey “It’s really almost like I’m able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of ‘Oh, I guess we should use this side’ or whatever. Everybody’s got a better side.”

I bet whoever did that to her when she was little must regret slashing the face of a future celebrity.  Then again, people love having the opportunity to be on television.  I bet it’s like having your cousin on the news: while it was only for a second, and whatever they said was rather dumb, they’re still jumping and wailing in front of the television screen over their mind blowing performance.
