Paula Abdul is Like an Abused Housewife When it Comes to Stalker

Paula Abdul seems to still be reeling over her dedicated 18 year stalker that killed herself outside of her home.  Since the event, she hasn’t even laid foot in that house, and now she’s whining over the fact that Fox allowed Paula Goodspeed, the stalker, to audition knowing her rep.

Abdul said “Idol” producers ignored her protests and brought Goodspeed on the show “for entertainment value.”

The “American Idol” judge also accused Fox of making her home address public, although she added that Goodspeed found the place on her own after an audition: “She followed me home with her mom.”

When Barbara Walters asked why Abdul remains on a show that put her in peril, Abdul replied: “I’m under contract.”

I have nothing to say about Fox.  Obviously stupidity makes for good televisiion until someone gets hurt [seriously].  When I do watch the show, it is mainly to see all the rejects that crawl through the door.  Abdul’s excuse for being under contract is shockingly similar to the excuse a woman will stay with an abusive husband, and with all that money she’s getting while “under contract” you’d think she’d at least move if she really had a problem with it, or it got too out of hand.  There’s parts of me that want to say that she sort of liked it…up to the killing part.
