A Little Lil’ Wayne Misinterpretation of “Fashion” and “Rocks”

When Lil’ Wayne initially appeared on the grounds of the Fashion Rocks show this weekend, I’m sure he was planning more around the “rocks” than the fashion.  When asked to go through security before being allowed to perform, he simply denied and stormed off the premises.  What makes matters even worse, Lil’ Wayne’s representatives manage to beg for a second chance, and when he does get it, suddenly he switches over to “fashion,” and makes it back on the grounds fashionably late.

“We had a crew of 250 people waiting for him… Then he calls at, like, 9:30 and says, ‘I’m five blocks away,’ which is like 500 blocks away in New York traffic, so we just pulled the plug. It was just so disrespectful to the crew and to the 5,000 audience members. Unbelievable,” the source said.

When you openly invite a man to your show who’s song titles include “Act a Ass,” “Pill Popping Animal,” ”Ain’t Worried About S**t”  and “Shutup Bitch Swallow,” maybe you should have sensed that some of this would have happened.
