George Carlin is dead

Comedy legend George Carlin died of heart failure on Sunday.

Carlin, who had a history of heart trouble, went into St. John’s Medical Center in Santa Monica on Sunday afternoon complaining of chest pain and died later that evening, said his publicist, Jeff Abraham. He had performed as recently as last weekend at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.

George Carlin was awesome.  I had no idea he was even still doing Live performances.  It seems like all the kick ass comedians are dying and we’re being left with hacks like Jim Bob the Redneck Idiot.  In case you were living in a rock and didn’t know who George Carlin was, here’s a few minutes to remind you.
