I woke up this morning to a slew of stories about Heath Ledger’s death. These are some of the more ridiculous ones:
- Heath found dead at Olsen Twin’s apt.
- Heath is dead, what about Batman?
- Heath Ledger had a drug problem
I hate all these “news” sites who write 3 stories every 15 minutes just to make sure they are “the source” for the latest news. The dude just died, take it easy. Here’s the details we know for sure. Heath had pneumonia at the time of his death and was taking medication for it. He was found dead by his housekeeping staff and a masseuse. They then called the Olsen Twin’s bodyguard who is also an EMT and was in the neighborhood. By the time that guy got there, the police and paramedics were already there. They said Heath had “been dead for a while”. There’s also a report that there were sleeping pills found in the area, but it is not being labeled as a suicide.

Thank you. People love to jump to conclusions.
What sickens me is the tabloids are saying he “died of a drug overdose”. This makes it sound like he died like a typical sleaze, needles poking out of him and all. No. We need to wait for the true.
As for “what about Batman?”, well, I’m a HUGE Batman fan but it takes very sick people to be already worrying about that sort of thing. It just isn’t important right now. A man has lost his life, a daughter has lost her father, parents have lost their son…

R.I.P. Have a goog after life.
I wish there was a way to turn back the clock Heath…and stop this from happening… One of the most talented and promising actors… so many images left unseen, so many emotions left to portray. And on top of it all, you seemed to be a genuine, nice and real person…
Wish I could turn back the clock and stop this from being true… You won my heart…talent is a most splendorous thing… I wish I could still watch you when we were both in our 60’s. Wish there was a way… My heart sunk when I first heard you were gone… And it sinks everytime I think of you… I just shake my head in sadness and disbelief…
I can´t take your face out of my mind Heath, and Gustavo Santaolalla’s “The Wings” from Brokeback’s soundtrack is playing in my head and won’t stop…Probably because it’s so sad, and so beautiful, and it reminds me of you…
Rest in peace, Heath.
This is just me, saying goodbye…
You’ll forever be up there with the greats to me Heath…
You will be missed.
Love always,
Daniela.
