Britney Spears’s Creative “Blackout:” She Only Co-Wrote Two Songs

Britney Spears, who is set to have her new album “Blackout” released on October 30th, 2007, only co-wrote two of the twelve songs. According to Reuters,
While pop singers of Spears’ ilk usually leave the songwriting to the pros, she was credited on seven of the songs on 2003’s “In the Zone,” and five on 2001’s “Britney.”
For the current project, Spears enlisted 23 songwriters. She received credit on “Freakshow” and “Ooh Ooh Baby.” The former marks a reunion with Swedish hitmakers Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg, who co-wrote and produced “Toxic,” the Grammy-winning tune from Spears’ last album.
It’s hard to write when your mind is preoccupied with other important life altering decisions: “Should I drink vodka or gin this morning? Do I have to feed the kids every day? How am I going to beat this drug test?” So I totally understand her decision to hire 23 songwriters for her upcoming album.
And now here are pictures of Britney Spears wearing a pink wig. What a disguise…
