Britney Spears Misses Children’s Visit Due to Faulty Intercom, Hangover

Despite losing custody of her children earlier this week, Britney Spears missed her first supervised visit with her two children. On October 4th, 2007, Kevin Federline’s people were set to bring the kids by Britney’s house to visit. Both Britney and Alli Sims were awake and prepared for the 10 o’clock visit, but nobody showed up. According to Life and Style,

“But she waited, and waited, and they didn’t show up. Alli’s cellphone rang, and it was Kevin [Federline’s] people, saying that the boys were going back to Kevin because she hadn’t answered the intercom at the gate!

“Brit didn’t realize the intercom wasn’t working. She begged them to bring the boys back. But they wouldn’t. She was devastated that they wouldn’t turn around.”

What they really mean is “10 o’clock is too early for an alcoholic.” Or, even if she’s not an alcoholic, it’s stisll too early for someone who is accused of being an alcoholic. It’s hard to be prepared at 10, when you go to sleep at 5 and in Britney’s case, it’s hard just being prepared for life when she’s such a wreck.
