Nicole Richie’s Rehab Adventure Begins…

Nicole Richie has enlisted in an 18-month anti-drinking driver course, which consists of 52 hours of group counseling, bi-weekly face to face interviews, and 12 hours of alcohol education. This enrollment is as a result of her July 27th court hearing where she was sentenced to 4 days in jail, fined $2,048, and forced to sign up for a rehabilitation program. [source]

On a side note, what exactly is alcohol education and how can it last for twelve hours? The process is pretty simple. If you drink an excessive amount of alcohol, don’t drive. What the hell is so complicated? Do they need to repeat it 5700 times? I understand Nicole Richie is stupid, but if she didn’t hear it the first ten times, she’s probably a lost cause and at that point, throw her in jail for a year. That’s rehabilitation.
