Lindsay Lohan’s Car Crash Will Go to Court

In October 2005, Lindsay Lohan’s Mercedes-Benz crashed into Raymundo Ortega’s van. Raymundo is now suing Lohan and seeking at least $200,000 in damages. Since the judge has refused to dismiss lawsuit, the trial is set to begin next April. According to Metro,

Ortega claims Lohan was fleeing paparazzi and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He claims he was knocked out in the crash.

Lohan and a female passenger sustained minor injuries.

His lawyer, Robert G Klein, said: “This case is about responsibility and she’s not taking responsibility.”

Lohan’s lawyer, David J Ozeran, said outside court that there was no evidence that Lohan was intoxicated.

Lindsay Lohan is a car-crash-aholic. She might as well go into court and admit she has been practicing driving with her eyes closed. Sure she’ll lose $200,000 but at least she won’t look like a complete tool.
