Maggie Gyllenhaal: “I’m No Katie Holmes”

July 23, 2007

Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Gyllenhaal is set to play Rachel Dawes in the next installment of the Batman series, “The Dark Knight.” Despite replacing Katie Holmes, Maggie wanted to insure her fans that she is no Katie Holmes. According to MSNBC, Maggie said,

“I’m not walking into Katie Holmes’ performance,” Gyllenhaal said, reports WENN. “I’m thinking of it as an opportunity to play somebody who’s alive and smart. Chris (Nolan the director) asked me to do this because he wanted me, not because he wants some generic lady in a dress.”

I may not be fluent in the language of “women,” but I’m pretty sure Maggie just called Katie Holmes a bitch. Zing!

Site News: Things are 100 percent normal now. Sorry for the extended vacation.

This withered old washer-woman is more looney and deluded than Kiki Durst about her much sought about talents and beauty.

Her pig’s nose is the only thing I can see when I look at her. Horrible!

I love Maggie. I know she’ll be way better in the role. Katie’s like ScarJo always playing the same part. Even in Pieces of April it was like trying to make her look edgy. It didn’t work.
