Paris Hilton Released: “I have learned a great deal from this ordeal”

Paris Hilton was released from jail because of her mental instability in prison. After being visited by a psychiatrist on two occasions, the doctor had deemed Paris unfit to server jail time. According to TMZ,

Psychiatrist Charles Sophy visited Hilton in jail yesterday and the day before. We’re told after Sophy’s visit yesterday, word was passed to the Sheriff that Hilton’s mental state was fragile and she was at risk. The reason for releasing her had nothing to do with a rash or other physical issues. It was purely in her head.

So basically, Paris Hilton was mentally affected by being in prison. Isn’t that the whole fucking point? Punish those who deserve it. The last time I checked punishment was suppose to be unpleasant. I mean, if it were all rainbows and candy bars, people would do whatever they want. Drive drunk and kill people? No problem! Here’s a bowl of soup for your mental anguish and a ankle bracelet.

In the mean while, Paris Hilton decided to finally speak out. According to TMZ, Paris said,

“I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes.”

By Fairly and Professionally, Paris Hilton probably means, thanks for letting me off the hook guys. Let those other suckers suffer, I’m a god-damn movie star.
