Paris Hilton, despite the desperate attempt by her fans to exonerate her, has issued a statement through her attorney, Richard Hutton, with hope of clarifying her stance on impaired driving and breaking the law. According to TMZ, Paris Hilton said,
After reading the media’s coverage of my court hearing, I feel the need to correct what I believe are misperceptions about me. I absolutely realize how serious driving under the influence is. I could not live with myself if anyone was injured or killed while I was driving while impaired. Clearly, no one should — no matter how slightly.
I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation.
No one is above the law. I surely am not. I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else who violated probation. However, my hope is that I will not be treated worse.”
While I do not claim to be an expert on the legal affairs of celebrities, why has Paris Hilton had such a sudden change of heart about her actions? Do you think Paris Hilton is just shedding alligator tears for some sympathy?

My guess is the change of heart was prompted by the change of attorney. The new guy might actually see that his client does not have the support of the public on her side.
Someone has obviously advised her against her former attitude. She does not have the public or the judge’s support in trying to beat the wrap. Maybe her adviser thinks that this apparent change of strategy is better for her in the future.
Possibly… Or, maybe, she finally realized she will be bunking with a few bulls
PLEASE?!?! As IF this idiot can spell, pronounce, or define such words that are so eloquently written out in this speech!
Lock her up! Lose the key! She HAD her “second chance” and she blew it!
