Britney Spears fights the British with Lawyers and Paperwork

Did this cover piss off Britney Spears when it was published a little more than a week ago?

Britney Spears, who allegedly fixed herself in 4 short weeks at Promises Rehab clinic, has a team of British lawyers working to prevent the British magazines from publishing any more false allegations. In addition to the cease to desist, she is requiring that the sources for these allegations be revealed. According to the Chronicle,

It goes on to explain that media outlets are being served the injunction “so as to assist them in not making the mistake of carrying out such further disclosures if approached by this person”.

The star has already launched a lawsuit against some of the “false allegations” which have been circulating in some publications.

After the rumor emerged that Kevin Federline was taking half of Britney’s money, she needs to find a way to recoup it and since she’s an American, the easiest way to do it is with a lawyer. I love the legal system.
