Avril Lavigne’s marriage is boring, predictable

Avril Lavigne, who has been happily married to Sum 41 frontman, Deryck Whibley, has finally revealed some of the more personal details of her marriage. While Avril reminisces about her desire to have a beautiful traditional wedding as a little girl, she admits to wanting a rock n roll waiting as well. According to People,

“People thought I would have done, like, some black wedding dress, and yeah, I would have. But at the same time I was thinking about our pictures. … I didn’t want to be, like, 20 years later, ‘Oh, why did I wear my hair like that? It’s not cool now.’ “

Given Avril’s origin, a black wedding dress would be very fitting. However, this was before she started becoming a full-time diva. With her popularity came an extreme loss of her original sense of self. Now, she’ll walk down the isle in a white wedding dress, which she definitely doesn’t deserve to be wearing and have the memories of that “one time” when she was supposedly pure.
