Larry Birkhead, who is currently battling for custody of his self-proclaimed child Dannielynn Hope, has said he desperately tried to save Anna Nicole Smith, but he was pushed away on several occasions. According to the Chronicle, Larry said,
“I am sorry that I couldn’t save them, I tried.”
“I watched over her to make sure she was safe, and once I was basically pushed to the side … I had no control over what she did or anyone else around her did.”
I love how people come out of the woodwork when someone dies to claim how they “tried” to save them, or, collect money. Until I see the paternity test proving it is Larry Birkhead’s child, I’m going to just freely assume he is in dire need of attention.

I am the real father of Dannielynn Hope.
Larry Birkhead didn’t just come out of the woodwork saying he is Dannilynn’s father, he has said even before the baby was born that she was his daughter and even went to the appointments when Anna was pregnant with her. It is all the other men that have come forth since Anna died that are liars, they are trying to get their hands on the $$$$. Howard is also just wanting her $$$$. If he truly loved her he would have tried to help her when she was alive but instead he gave her drugs and kept her in a stupor. I can’t wait until the truth comes out and Howard is proven to be the lying scum that he is and the truth WILL come out!

Larry, I have been behind you every step of the way. You seem to be such a nice young man I truly feel you are the only man who has ever loved Anna. I pray you get custody of Dannielynn ASAP! Also, be very, very careful. Howard is a monster and he won’t be happy to have to give up his fight for the $$$. Once you and Dannielynn are together, the rest of us can breathe a sigh of relief. Never forget to ALWAYS watch your back though.
