Michael Jackson Failed

Michael Jackson’s performance at the World Music Awards caused chaos. Instead of doing a solo performance of “Thriller” he decided to make it a duet with Chris Brown. According to the Chronicle,

An un-named event organizer tells British newspaper The Sun, “No one knew if they’d perform at all. They were terrified it would be a total disaster.”

Brown was left to sing Thriller alone. Jackson appeased angry fans when he stepped onstage for a performance of We Are The World - but left most of the singing to a backing gospel choir, managing just a few lines.

Did people really think he was going to woo the crowd? Absolutely not. Unless he was doing a performance of “What someone looks like after being cryogenically frozen for 10 years,” he was destined to fail. After all the surgery he has done on his face, I’m surprised he can even speak, let alone sing.
