Jessica Simpson as a Publicist

Jessica Simpson, after the publicity disaster otherwise known as her John Mayer relationship, decided to finally stand up for herself and let her father, Joe Simpson, fire her publicist. Simpson has now decided to handle all of her own publicity. According to the Chronicle,

“It’s been very emotional. But I am my own publicist right now. I’ve called all the heads of the tabloids. I don’t want anyone else to speak for me now.”

“It felt good to call them, but it was hard to find forgiveness. But that’s one of my best qualities, I’m very forgiving.”

So, Jessica who can’t even fire her own publicist, thinks she can handle her own press? Before you learn to run Jess, you should start walking first.
