Tom Cruise is currently in talks with re-appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show. According to Lifestyle Weekly, the main goal of this appearance won’t be to wreck and destroy his acting career like the last one did, but to help repair it.
“Tom needs to repair his image and Oprah is more than glad to help him,” the insider says. “She feels partially responsible for what happened because it all started on her show.”
At this point, I don’t even think it is possible for Tom Cruise to repair his reputation. People will never forget. Unless ofcourse he is running through the streets of New York, in his underwear, while eating Tylenol. Or, if he finally admits, Scientology masters brainwashed him and he was the victim. We’ll see what happens…

I think it is possible for him to repair his reputation to a point, as long as he just shuts his mouth and makes movies. He should never have fired his previous publicist she had him doing just that for over a decade and everything was fine.
I dont think it could ever be the same. But, i guess time will tell.
You might be right, but the viewing public is pretty changeable and he has not committed a crime so the only stigma he has is acting like an idiot which could be turned around. Whether it will be, depends on whether he keeps blurting out scientology propaganda and making bronze sculptures of his children’s excrement.
