Naomi Campbell, who was charged with assault after she threw a phone at a housekeeper, failed to appear at Manhattan Criminal court yesterday. Although her lawyer claimed her no-show wasn’t for professional reasons, he refused to divulge why she did not show up. According to IMDB, the judge said,
“I want to make it clear that she is absolutely obliged to appear at the next hearing. If she fails to appear on that court date, the warrant will go into effect.”
Naomi Campbell should be excused from court because she is such an up-standing young woman. And by upstanding, I mean extremely violent, volatile, and very intimidating. I wouldn’t say anything to her face because I’d never know if she was going to have a hiss fit.
