Anna Nicole Smith’s son didn’t kill himself

Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel Smith had the second autopsy done over this previous weekend. Cyril Wecht, forensic pathologist, said Daniel recently began treatment for depression, but is unaware if the medication may have caused his death. However, both the original surgeon and Cyril ruled out “suicidal overdose” as the cause of death. According to the Associated Press,

Wecht, speaking by phone from Miami a day after conducting the autopsy in the Bahamas, said he’s still awaiting toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.

Their ruling out a “suicidal overdose” as the cause of death without seeing the results of the toxicology tests seems premature. Although I’m sure it provided some comfort to Anna Nicole, which she most definately deserves.
