Paris Hilton’s earns a one way ticket to Alcoholic Anonymous meetings

Paris Hilton was arrested early Thursday morning for driving while intoxicated in Hollywood. TMZ reports,

TMZ has learned LAPD officers noticed Paris driving her Mercedes McLaren SLR erratically at 12:31 AM and stopped her. They believed she exhibited signs of intoxication. We’re told they administered a field sobriety test, and Paris blew a .08. In California, driving with a .08 blood alcohol level is the minimum level for DUI.

Paris was arrested and taken to the LAPD Hollywood division, where she was booked. The officers who stopped the car did not know it was Paris Hilton until they approached the vehicle on foot. Police sources say she was cooperative. Paris had a passenger in the car — Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart’s daughter.

This event just illuminates the fact that young Hollywood Celebrities feel they are entitled to be above the law. Sure most people would pay for this kind of treatment, but when it comes to endangering other people, the necessary actions should be taken. I am aware that this would only be considered a misdemeanor but it should be punishable by a Semen Firing Squad in addition to the suggested penalties. However, Paris may enjoy the punishment too much so maybe they should just bar her from drinking with a house arrest anklet for a year. Not only will Hollywood be looked upon more positively, I won’t have to read pointless Paris Hilton stories everyday of the week. [tags]Paris Hilton[/tags]
