Michael Jackson doesn’t find it funny

Michael Jackson

[tag]Michael Jackson[/tag] is furious with the spoof article, “Where’s Michael” published in [tag]GQ[/tag] magazine. He is demanding an apology and wants the issues pulled from the stands. A Michael Jackson impersonator is present in a couple of pictures, one of them being in a movie theatre, another in the desert (pictured above). Jim Nelson, editor in chief of GQ, official response was,

It is very clear that the pictures in the story … are satirical, whether it’s a picture of a Michael Jackson imitator sitting in a Bahraini cinema or an image of The Gloved One standing flamboyantly in the desert. Mr. Jackson may feel that the person in the photographs is an `impostor,’ but he is merely an imitator

Michael Jackson is trying to salvage the last bit of self dignity that he doesn’t even have. The picture of him in the movie theatre should have had a little boy sitting on his lap, but, that would be cruel. If Michael was upset about GQ publishing some imposter pictures, imagine how he would react if one of the photos was of Michael sitting in a kindegarten class reading stories to a bunch of little boys.
