Kate Winslet is self-conscious

[tag]Kate Winslet[/tag] can’t bear to watch her own movies because she fears she is a terrible actress. When watching television with her husband, Sam Mendes, she is quick to tell Sam to change the channel. She was quoted as saying,

I saw ‘Titanic’ twice and I haven’t seen it for years. In fact, Sam and I were channel-hopping recently and I saw it and went, ‘Aaaaagh. No! Quick, quick, quick!’ and he was like, ‘Fuck. Alright!

I think that is the general consensus for Titanic at this point. Seeing that she is a terrible actress would put her in a slump and Winslet wouldn’t want that, she went on to say,

I’d rather be oblivious and that way I could still try to get better, as opposed to being depressed about how crap I was.

I do the same when I’m driving, of course it’s hard to ignore all those looks I get from neighbors who’s animals I’ve mowed over the years.
