Shakira Tells All…

[tag]Shakira [/tag] was recently on 20/20 in regards to her new single “Hips don’t lie”. The sultry singer from Columbia has had recent success in the American market (as well as abroad) and is planning a year long world tour. In regards to her music, when it isn’t working right, she was quoted as saying (to her band),

Hey, guys, that song is not working out. My hips, do you see? Do you see ‘em moving? Do you see ‘em shaking? It’s not working out. So let’s put a little more energy onto it.

Oddly enough, I talk to my genitals in the same manner.

Her hips aren’t the only thing that Shakira has full control over. She reportedly writes and produces her own music. She even does her own makeup. She was quoted as saying,

I like to be the Captain of my own ship.

I can understand praising her for stuff she is supposed to do. When I started flushing the toilet a few weeks ago, my roommate was pretty happy.
