Simon Cowell. Down to Earth.

Simon Cowell

I have always liked Simon. He was always ready to give people the harsh truth. He was always brutally honest. As he says,

“I try and say what I believe people at home are thinking. I loathe political correctness. It’s one of the reasons why ‘Idol’ is successful, because it just speaks to the normal person, I think.”

which is definately true. The reason I started to watch American Idol was because I wanted to see how Simon would berate one of the contestants. The painful truth is, I think thats why many people liked to see what he would say. Everyone was thinking so and so was a terrible singer, Simon was the only one who had the balls to put it bluntly.

With regards to the new show that is in the making, American Inventor, I think that is going to be a hit. It’s going to appeal to all the gadget and technology nerds out there, I’m one of them. Maybe we’ll see some cool inventions, or maybe we’ll see some japanese robots that have 4 arms and pleasure japanese girls while they’re passing gas. Anything is possible.

I like Simon too. Yeah, he’s arrogant, but he is usually the only one of the judges that is correct. And if you watch the contestants, you can tell that Simon’s opinion is the one that matters the most.
